The edit you keep putting off takes one sentence.
Blind Editor is a video editor you talk to. Upload your footage, describe the edit you want, and it works out which parts you meant, makes the cut, and hands the file back.
No signup, no card. 500 free credits.
Here is what it looks like.
No timeline, no tracks, nothing to scrub. Your files on the left, whatever you are looking at in the middle, and the conversation on the right.
Real prompts, real output.
Every clip below is the file the agent handed back, watermarks and misses included.
Here is one, start to finish.
The raw footage of a 16mm short-film shoot: ten minutes of silent 4K picture, 52 minutes of separately recorded multi-take dialogue, the screenplay, sound effects and voice-over takes. Blind Editor synced the picture to the sound, found the takes, fixed two syncs it was told it had got wrong, and cut the film to a shot list described in plain English.
“License Exam”, one minute 54, cut from CineStudy’s public edit challenge. The watermark is theirs.
And a simpler task, the prompt from the top of this page.
Remove the silences and filler words from this video and give me the cleaned-up version.

It works from what was said.
Blind by design
It works from a transcript of what was said and the occasional still frame. The name is literal: it never sees the picture.
Video first, and more besides
Video is the job. Audio, images, PDFs and text can sit in the same project as material for the edit. Ask what it can do with them and it will tell you.
Capped, always
Every job runs under a spending cap you set, so a long edit can never run away with your credits.
Where your footage goes.
You are about to hand a stranger a file with your face and voice in it. Here is the whole answer, without opening the policy.
- Your files are stored in the EU and stay there.
- Only the transcript and a few still frames reach the AI provider, which is contractually barred from training on them.
- Nothing you upload trains a model unless you opt in, and nothing is sold.
- Delete a file or your whole account and the content goes with it.
- One cookie, which records the link you arrived from. That is why there is no consent banner.
Built and run by one person.
I’m Sindri Traustason. I wanted to build something with AI, and something that used it. I also wanted my own recordings edited without learning a timeline or losing an afternoon to each one, and I wanted to find out whether an editor that never sees the picture could really work. If the output is wrong or something breaks, write to argon@argon.is and you will get an answer from the person who wrote the code.
Prepaid credits.
Credits buy machine time. A short cleanup costs tens of them; a whole film cut costs thousands.
